Best backstory. (x)

You know…for a second there…his head shape led me to believe he could be Phineas’s father.

whA T

He couldn’t be though. this was their only date and it happened in the 80s, way before she had any kids

this is what they thought 2015 would be like in the 80s

i’m sorry we have failed you

Well in this case it’s more “this is what the 80s thought 2015’s nostlgia for the 80s would be like” but that first sentence does apply for the rest of te 2015 stuff.

Also: where the fuck is my god-damn Pepsi Perfect?

No, this is what people thought 2012 would be like in an alternate reality where somebody built a time machine in the 80s

Thanks for the link to The Room but that was not the movie I was talking about. The movie I am after is an A movie so to say probably filmed in New York area. The audio recording quality was superb too.

There is this movie, probably from the 90's about a dude released from prison who is in some sort of a jam. He ends up kidnapping a girl sort of unwittingly. The girl ends up liking him and helping him. I never watched the movie in full and can't remember the title. I thought joaquin phoenix was in it but I am wrong about that. Any ideas?

how the heck did this show

image

That had great characters

image

interesting characters who dealt with difficulties, prejudice, and fear

imageimage

a show that had a great plot

imageimage

that contained  love and friendship

imageimageimage

a show that could get dark but managed to say light-hearted and funny

image

that also managed to complement the original series

image

how oh how did it become this

image

more importantly how did the original show get canceled

It didn’t

Teen Titans was initially planed to last 3 seasons but because it was so successful it got a 4th. and then a movie to end the whole thing.

How did it become this you ask? simple.

Teen Titans was never intended to be continued in any way shape or form, it was gone, gone for good, never coming back. and there was nothing wrong with that, it had a good run. And despite a couple unresolved plot points (ex. the other red x, why Terra doesn’t remember anything) it did basically all it wanted to do. the end.

but fortunately for the fans, just for funsies they created a line of silly little shorts for DC nation called “the new teen titans” which were so popular they managed to get their own show “teen titans go!”

So before you go on bitching about Cartoon network killing your childhood or some other bullshit remember that teen titans was not and is not ever ever EVER coming back. Teen titans go is a completely different show with watertight comedy and a lot of creativity so hop the fuck of mah dick

Octodad: Dadliest Catch by Charlie Schaltz

I don’t get it. Looks like a normal dude to me. Is the foto title some kind of weird in joke?

It’s the modern and adorable version of Cthulhu.

I don’t know if you’re trying to make some low-blow to this dapper man’s appearance but that was totally uncalled for.

How many times do I have to say this tumblr?

Dads aren’t fucking attractive. bunch of freaks

I saw a film when a kid I've never seen again, that changed my mind about romance at a young age, it was about a boy with rich parents that leave him alone, and a girl, both young, that run away to his father's house nobody knows. Called something like Weekend at Shangri-La. Older film. I have never found it, just caught a scene of them hanging out, mature romance for kids.
